Considering buying some of our high-performance coffee online, but want to try it first?
If you’re in Sydney, you’re in luck. We have four locations where you can give Mongrel Joe’s a whirl. Right now, it’s a small number because we have fairly strict criteria on what makes a cafe Mongrel-worthy; from the use of separate grinding machines to avoid cross-contamination to a policy of using only fresh coffee beans. A top-notch barista doesn’t hurt a café’s prospects either.
So where are these locations?
Firstly, a cosy little place we like to call “Downstairs” at our own Mongrel Joe’s HQ. This is by appointment only, but if you’re in Marrickville, or are planning to be during business hours, let us know a few days before (details on our Contacts page) and set up a time to swing by.
Next up are two temples to coffee on the North Shore – Grind and Dose in Neutral Bay, and 21 Grams in Dee Why. Both cafes are helmed by outstanding baristas who are experts in their field. Finally, if you’re down south, Kafenio in Cronulla is open seven days. Their orange and back colour palette mirrors our own, so they shouldn’t be hard to spot.
As we look to expand our customers, we’d love to hear from you if you have a favourite café that might be on our wavelength. Or if there’s a gym-adjacent venture that you feel could benefit from some kick-ass coffee – get in touch.
